Creating Bouncing Balls Using Particles and Physics

Creating an animation of bouncing balls using a particle system and physics for collisions (Blender version 2.55).
The key part of this tutorial is replacing the particles with an object, in the demo the particles are replaced by a monkey followed by a red sphere.

The basic steps are -
- Add a particle system to an object to make it a particle emitter
- Replace the particles with an object (red ball)
- Add a plane for the balls to bounce off
- Fine tune to make more realistic
